Atlantic Immigration Pilot
The purpose of Atlantic immigration pilot is to attract skilled workers and graduates to work and live in the maritime provinces which are Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Islands and Newfoundland Labrador.
There are 3 different streams for this program:
- Atlantic High Skilled Program: This category aims at attracting workers who have experience in the field of management, professional and technical occupations which would be in NOC 0, A & B. They need to have a non-seasonal, full-time job offer for 1 year in mentioned NOCs. They must have at least 1-year of work experience in the past 3 years. Mandatory education qualification for this program is high school diploma or post-secondary certificate and language proficiency of CLB 4 is required.
- Atlantic Intermediate Skilled Program: This stream is suitable for those who have experience in the jobs which require a high school diploma and covers NOCs 0,A,B & C. They must have a non-seasonal, full-time job offer for the duration of 1 year and they must have at least 1 year of work experience in the last 3 years prior to application with CLB 4 in language proficiency.
- Atlantic International Graduate Program: It is suitable for the candidates who have studied in one of the maritime provinces for a 2 year-study program and they must have lived in mentioned province for at least 16 months.
All applicants must find a designated employer who will make an offer of employment to the applicant. if they receive the employment offer, the next step is to acquire a settlement plan which is from one of the service providers in the province. Then they need to secure an endorsement from Atlantic province and then they can apply for their PR.
